Montgaillard, my dear little village...

Montgaillard has 700 inhabitants and is located between Tarbes, Bagnères and Lourdes. It is therefore in the deep heart of the Pyrénées, where it is so good to live, far away from the tumultuous Towns.

This "bourgade" had been strongly influenced by Maures and Wisigoths invasion, then more recently, by some of our nearest neighbors : Spanniards and British invaders.

In this small part of the Hautes-Pyrénées France's department, the light green colour from the trees and meadows is overwelmingly dominant. This hue is accompained by the soft lapping of rivers: Adour, Anou, Aldoustre. The numerous wild tuits that live in this pure running water seems to have the same "accent" which you get when you have been born besides Pyrene, the Ulysse's fiancee who made "the most beautifull tombs" from this mountains.

Montgaillard is a particular aim in discovering an edenic place on earth. Some of the most attractive spots are not farther than an hour drive to Montgaillard...

Let's not disgress further as I just wish you to come. You shall certainly love to discover all the little hidden corners of our Country.
